This is the application that serves as the “official” application to the Economics Department’s Graduate Program. The UCR Graduate Division provides more information about the official application procedures.

The deadline to submit your online application for fellowship consideration and admission to the Ph.D. Program in Economics is January 5^th (for both domestic and foreign applicants). Applications received after January 5th will be considered for financial support if funding remains available.

Please note that official transcripts are not required for a decision on your admission. Instead you can scan and email copies of all your transcripts to the Graduate Assistant: gary.kuzas@ucr.edu  If you receive an offer of admission and you decide to accept you will be required to provide official hard copies of all your transcripts at that time.
